4. Percentage Removal Requirements (BODS sad TSS Limitations) (Domestic)
If not presently being complied with, effective immediately, the
arithmetic mean of the total BODg and the Total Suspended Solids
concentrations for effluent samples collected in a period of 3U
consecutive days shall not exceed 15 percent of the arithmetic mean of
the concentrations for influent samples collected at approximately ttie
same times during the same period (b5 percent removal). This is in
addition to the concentration limitations on Total BOllS and Total
Suspended Solids.
5. Expansion Requirements (Domestic)
Pursuant to Colorado Law, C.R.S. 1973 YS-8-501 (5) and state discharge
permit regulation 6.9.3 (12), the permittee is required to initiate
engineering and financial planning for expansion of the domestic
wastewater treatment works whenever througttput and treatment readies
eighty (8U) percent of the hydraulic or organic design capacity.
Whenever ninety-five (95j percent of either the hydraulic or organic
design capacity of the treatment works is reached, the permittee shall
commence construction of the necessary treatment expansion.
The design capacity of this domestic wastewater treatment works is
O.U12 MGD for hydraulic flaw and 2S lbs BODS per day fur organic
loading..
