<br />~~ <br />disturbed portions of the area will flow to the pond excavation. If <br />necessary, small local diversion ditches and or earthen berms will be field <br />engineered as required to route any unconfined surface flow to the pond. <br />If these measures prove impractical for runoff occurring on other areas, <br />such as the process site, te~orary low earthen berms will be constructed <br />on the downslope side of the disturbed area to confine storm water. <br />Devartment of the ArrtN Permit <br />Staff from the U.S. Army Corps of F]zgineers visited the site and <br />advised the operator of activities that would require a Section 404 permit. <br />The stream crossing (bridge and/or conveyor) described herein is under the <br />jurisdiction of the Corps of Engineers. Western Gravel, Inc. will <br />therefore prepare and submit the appropriate application to the Corps. <br />Water Use and Water Rights <br />Water will be conswned in the operation for evaporation and dust <br />suppression. A well permit and augmentation plan will be required by the <br />Colorado Division of Water Resources for water consiared as a result of the <br />operation. <br />-13- <br />
