<br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Washington County Road and Bridge Department c/o <br />Washington County Commissioners, located at the Washington <br />County Court House, 150 Ash Street, Akron, Colorado, 80720. <br />Phone (970) 345-2701, has filed an application for a regular <br />(112) Construction Materials Operation Reclamation Permit with <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board' under provisions of <br />the Colorado Land Reclamation Act for the extraction of <br />Construction Materials. The proposed mine is known as the <br />Shook Gravel Pit 1, and is located at or near section 26 and 27, <br />Township 1 North, Range 52, 6th Prime Meridian. <br />The proposed date of commencement is as soon as the <br />permit is issued and the proposed date of completion is <br />unknown at this time. the proposed future use of the land <br />(Future Landuse) is pastureland. <br />Additional information and tentative decision date may be <br />obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 <br />Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866- <br />3567, or at the Washington County Clerk and Recorder's Office, <br />150 Ash St, Akron, CO 80720, or the above-named applicant. A <br />complete copy of the application is available at the above- <br />named County Clerk and Recorder's office and at tie Division's <br />office. <br />Comments concerning the application and exhibits must be <br />in writing and must be received by the Division of Minerals and <br />Geology by 4:00 p.m. on April 17, 2001. <br />Please note that under the provisions of C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et se . <br />Comments related to noise, truck traffic, hours of operation, visual <br />impacts, effects on property values and other social or economic concerns <br />are issues not subject to the Division of Minerals and Geology or the Mined <br />Land Reclamation Board.
