Domenic Leone Const. Co. <br />LSmited Impact Permit Appl. <br />. Exhibit "B" - Mining Plan cont. <br />Care will be taken to contour and grade the area in a manner that prevents <br />or minimizes soil erosion by wind or water during and after mining operations. <br />Operations shall be conducted from an approximate elevation of~6940 feet to <br />approximately an elevation of 6980 feet <br />Na direct affect of surface or groundwater system is expected y this mining <br />operation. No water diversion or impoundment is planned or necessary to this <br />operation. The nearest water course is the Huerfano River which lies at Its <br />nearest point one-half mile east of the site. <br />The site has no distinguishable drainageways. The site drains the east. <br />Operations of mining and reclamation will be conducted in such a man r as to not <br />create any drainageways or divert the present drainage direction. <br />Watering for dust control will be available on the site. It sha 1 be utilized <br />as necessary. <br />Materials shall be hauled and or conveyored to the hot plant a la for <br />crushing, stockpiling and or other processing. <br />Hauling of materials shall commence from the Orlando access roa a private <br />road. The mining operators have agreed to improve this road from thei initiation <br />paint on this private road to its Intersection with County Road 543. his road also <br />provides the access to the residence located southeast of the mining perations. <br />This road shall be kept open and clear of obstacles at all times. <br />Hauling shall continue west on County Road 543 to County Road 5 0. Some <br />hauls shall travel north on County Road 543 to reach State Nwy. 69 an avoid <br />using the limited load bridge on County Road 560 traveling north. <br />The gravel to be mined is both Superior Quality Gravel and Infe for quality <br />Gravei. Both have been recognized to have commercial potential. Only rellminary <br />testing of the materials has been conducted so far A copy of such t sting results <br />is attached to this application. Thickness of the gravel is unknown, i~ut is <br />Pg. ~J <br />
