The site most recently has been utilized for livestock grazing The site will be reclaimed for purposes of grazing. No mafor water useage is tanned for this operation. Planned water useage is limited to dust control. The amount of daily useage is not expected to exceed 1500 gallons. The boundaries described in Exhibit "A" shall be fenced with t ree strand barb-wire in order as to prevent straying livestock on the site, to efine boundaries of mining and for mininmal security purposes. The intentions for this mining operation include a five year o less operating period. Also, an intent and understanding that no more th 10,000 ton of materials may be extracted per calendar year. The amount of ma erlals, removed and the duration of this mining operation are dependent upon ctual demands in the near vicinity of the site. The intended mayor use of t ese materials is far use on ARCO projects, including drilling sites and r ad - up-gradings. Mining operations will be conducted in a mannerly fashion, main alning proper standards of law, safety, health and mining practices. The following steps shall be conducted in this mining operation Vegetation will be scraped from the surface and removed from th site to a suitable authorized dumping area. Topsoils shall be removed and stockpiled in two seperate piles s recommended by the Huerfano County Soil Conservation comments. This material shat be stockpiled along the northwest side of the mining operations where 11 tie disturbance of these materials will occur. Excavation of mining materials, gravel, shall be conducted in w sterly and southerly directions across the western and southern portions of the ite. Extractions shall be conducted in a manner as to permit slope grades rom 4:1 to 3:1 along the westerly and southern faces of the hill. Pg. 9
