Some temporary
surface instability will occur in a form of sloughing or
ravelling of slopes. No geologic hazards do presently exist
nor any will be created, because of the mining activity.
Sand and gravel is one of the more important and essential
commodities in our society. Most of our construction, be it
buildings or roads, and numerous other commercial industrial
enterprises and activities, require sand and gravel. It is
therefore felt that any possible minor and temporary adverse
impacts will be negated and exceeded by the beneficial results
to society by implementing this proposed mining and reclam-
ation activity, as submitted.
-14-
