Surface extraction of construction mauls and reclamation, at or near
Section 11, Township 6S, Range 93W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Garfield
County. Please be advised that the permit area may be located in more
than one Section, Township, and Range. The application decision is
scheduled for December 19, 2000.
A copy of the application is available for review at the Gartield County
Clerk & Recorder's office and at the office of the Division of Minerals
and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203.
When viewed the permit at Garfield County Clerk 6 Recorder's office,
there is mining with in the Colorado River as well as next too.
MSS Reilly, I am slowly getting your info on the SWAP. Find it
interesting, on the water intake and zones that you have plan. Am
reading more and more about it and hope that this might be of great
interest to the program as well as the safe drinking water for Rifle. Do
hope that your group will be involved in this mining activity and know
that the DMG is. Will become interesting as to the new type of
contaminate will come about if this permit for mining the river comes
about..
Thank you again,
Bill Grant III
