Following
the inspection, I met with Mr. Grant at the Mined Land Reclamation Board meeting in Glenwood Springs and explained the
process that we are now going through.
We will have an inspection report out soon.
We will also be addressing the questions raised by Mr. Grant's objection letter in some way or another. In any case, we
will definitely keep in touch throughout the process.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact either Gregg Squire or myself. Mr. Posey indicated that DMG is
interested in evaluating the issue of the presence of endangered species, and the potential for contamination of a public
water supply. In the latter instance, DMG will typically confer with the Water Quality Control Division.
If you want to talk to Mr. Mount or to Mr. Posey directly, they can be reached by phone at 303/866-3567, or via email at
carl.mount@state.co.us, harry.posey@state.co.us respectively. Again, I hope this is helpful, if you have any further
questions, please get back to me or to Bill McKee.
I have followed Mr. Posey's suggestion, and have forwarded the emails to Mr. Mount.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Reilly, Watershed Coordinator
»> "William E.
