This 26,000 cubic feet would include
previously mentioned north rim fill materials. In addition about
40,000 cubic feet of topsoil in place and containing very little
gravel would be stockpiled and respread over the sloped portion of
the East and Southeast areas. Considerable loss of these materials
is expected by repeated moving and downhill sluffing. General average
thickness of the resoiling layer will be approximately 1 to 4 inches.
Present natural reseeding of the older part of the pit is moderate,
supporting several shrub varieties and some grasses. Seedings of rec-
ommended species of grasses in suggested quantities per specie, if
available, will be made prior to abandonment of the pit.
Reclamation costs are estimated to exceed $2,500.
~l.~L ~ I•i;~
fu~l!'eD LkivD H~i'i '
Cnln, pCDt.
