Hazardous materials are stored
out of the flood plain or protected by flood control walls, and in most cases not only have
primary containment features, but may also maintain secondary and tertiary contatnment
features. A list of materials used, processed, or stored at the site is presented in Table 2.
Also included in this table are the locations where these materials are stored and the
maximum quantity that maybe on site at any given time.
TABLE 2
Materials On Site Representing a Spill Threat to the Environment
Material Physical State Location Maximtun
Barium Chloride Solid Water Treatment Plant 980 Ibs
Barium Chloride Soln 13°h Li id Water Treatment Plant 100 Is
Ferric Sulfate Solid Water Treatment Plant 1000 Ibs
Ferric Sulfate Li uid Water Treatment Plant l00 s
Sodium Hypochlorite
(Chlorinated Water)
Li uid
Domestic Water S rem
1500 als
PaNs Cleaning
Solvent
Li uid Lubricant Storage Shed
Maintenance Sho s
55 als
Mine Drainage
In Process or Store a
L' uid Water Treatment Plant
Untreated Water Pond 800 gals
160,000
Gasoline Fuel Li uid Fuel De of 500
Diesel Fuel Li uid Fuel De of 1500 als
Lubricants and
Antifreeze Liquid/
Solid Lubricant Storage Shed
Maintenance Sho s
450 Is
Used Motor Oil Li 'd Used Oil Tank 500 is
Fettic H droxide Solid Se Ponds 49 Tons
Domestic Wastewater Liquid Septic Tank ?AOOgals
