WW-1 Revision No. New Replaces Procedure: N/A <br />Page: 1 of 11 Revision Date: New Dated: 08/29/07 <br />SURFACE FACILITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />1.0 Emergency Response Procedures <br />These procedures have been developed for use during any response to an emergency situation at the <br />Whirlwind Mine site surface facilities. An emergency situation can include, but is not limited to: spills of <br />hazardous materials, fires, accidents involving personnel and / or material transport, or any combination <br />of the above. <br />The emergency RESPONSEPROCEDURESintextformarefoundinSECTIONI. Acopyoftheinitial <br />site emergency response procedures are attached as Appendix A. <br />A listing of hazardous materials (HazMat) in storage or in use at the Whirlwind Mine site is included in <br />this plan as Exhibit 1 "HazMat Table." The HazMat Table lists the materials by type and includes the <br />. locaiion of the material, the hazard classificaiion of the material, the maximum quantity stored at any <br />one location, and the containment structures at that location. A site map illustrating the surface <br />facilities and detailing the location and containment structures for hazardous materials is attached to <br />this plan as Figure 1. <br />These procedures are not to be used for responding to alarms associated with routine operational <br />problems that occurwithin the site systems. Examples of routine problems include, but are not limited <br />to, equipment breakdowns and wastewater treatment system process alarms. <br />2.0 Emergency Response Equipment <br />The list of available EQUIPMENT FOR RESPONSE operations is included as SECTION II. <br />3.0 Emergency Response Training Program <br />The TRAINING PROGRAM for personnel who may be involved in an emergency situation at the <br />Whirlwind Mine is included as SECTION III. <br /> <br />ENERGY FUELS RESOURCES HEALTH & SAFETY PROCEDURES <br />
