<br />EXHIBIT F, Rule 6.3.6: The Exhibit F narrative supplied indicates only local approval, in addition to the <br />Division's, is being or will be sought. It is the Division's experience that many dry gravel pits also require <br />an Av Emissions Permit. Such possibility is not indicated in the Exhibit. There is also a possibility, <br />mentioned earlier, that the Office of the State Engineer may place some restrictions on the retention of <br />storm water on the site. <br />The County should submit a revised Exhibit F which includes commitments to contact the Av Pollution <br />Control Division and the Office of the State Engineer to determine the possible need for permits or <br />requirements or indicate to the Division why such contacts aze unnecessary. <br />EXHIBIT L, RULE 6.3.12: The Exhibit L narrative indicates that there are no permanent man-made <br />structures within 200 feet of the proposed penniUaffected area. There is, however, a fence indicated on the <br />Exhibit E Maps located north of the permidaffected area and within 200 feet of it. <br />The County should submit a revised Exhibit L in which the existence of this fence within 200 feet of the <br />penniUaffected area is acknowledged. The County should then satisfy the requirements of this Rule and <br />supply either the specified compensation agreement or an appropriate engineering evaluation that <br />demonstrates that such structure will not be damaged by the mining operation. <br />The decision date for this application is September 17,1999. Please respond to the above adequacy issues by <br />September 15,1999 in order that the Division has adequate time to evaluate your response and be able to <br />consider approval of the application on the decision date. All adequacy issues must be satisfactorily <br />addressed or a permit will not be issued.
