A final reclamation report and a 180-day report (which serves as a summary of the
activity that took place -the disturbance that was done). It may be possible to get the
total bond returned with submittal of the reports and an inspection.
CX-1991-205-O1
A bond of $4300 is held for two drillholes.
No reports have been submitted. A 180-day report is needed to describe the disturbance
done on the NOI; a final reclamation report is needed if reclamation is complete; a
drillhole abandonment report is required if the wells have been abandoned.
CX-1993-205-03
A bond of $42,700 remains for 13 drillholes on 14 sites. The original NOI was for 12
drillholes on 12 sites, but a subsequent amendment involved the installation of one
additional alluvial well and a "monitoring system" on Trout Creek.
An abandonment report was filed on 12-7-93 covering 4 wells; a second abandonment
report was filed on 1-21-94 for 2 wells.
The Division needs a 180-day report describing the status of all the drilling approved, a
final reclamation report for those sites reclaimed, and a final abandonment report for the
seven drillholes not covered in the existing abandonment reports.
If the 180-day status report indicates that these 7 drillholes are part of a groundwater
monitoring program, the wells can be covered in the reclamation plan and bond estimate
for the mine and the NOI and its associated bond retired if an inspection finds the
disturbance reclaimed successfully.
CX-1997-222-00
A total of $32,623 liability remains as part of a $106,841 bond shared with NOI CX-
2002-205-07.
This original NOI approved 10 drillholes on 10 sites. A subsequent amendment proposed
3 additional drillholes on site 97011, the possibility of 3 more on 97011, and 1 drillhole
each at sites 97012 and 97013.
Reports have been submitted but were incomplete and records are unclear as to how
many drillholes were ultimately drilled and how many sites were disturbed. It appears
that some of the approved drillholes may have been converted into monitoring wells. If
these are included in the mine bond and reclamation plan, a final reclamation report
describing in detail which holes were drilled could be followed by an inspection of those
listed on the abandonment report to close out this NOI.
