The surface layer <br /> is loamy sand about 4 inches thick and is noncalcareous . The <br /> subsoil is coarse sandy Loam about 13 inches thick . It is non- <br /> calcareous . The underlying material is sandy loam and calcareous <br /> loamy sand which ranges in depth of 20 to 60 inches . This soil <br /> is cultivated and irrigated and is important because of the <br /> highly developed truck farming in the area . It has a high <br /> suitability for tree planting . <br /> • <br />
