BLM <br />Paul Schipke Environmental Engineer UII <br />Wayne Sowards Environmental Engineer UII <br />Mr. McGlone recommended that the mining plan be kept separate <br />from the impact statement. 1?e felt that detail should be avoided <br />in the impact statement and included in the mining plan. His <br />opinion is based on his current work with the Colorado Oil Shale <br />Impact Statement. <br />The aeneral consensus of the group was that ultimate land use <br />should prob~.i~ly ire grazing and bro~.vsina Eor livestock and big <br />dame with some minor ncrcaaes considered for sanitary !and fill_ <br />and possibl~• a reservoir cr park. We were advised to go to the <br />local citizens of Craiy vaitit our land use alternatives and request <br />Sheir comments. Niel Shilliny cautioned JII from complete <br />dependence on REA being the lead agency. <br />
