United has proposed a seed mix for the restored wetlands <br />but will work with the Paonia office of the CDOW and NRCS if any changes aze desired in the <br />types of plants in the wetlands. The land above the wetland fringe aoound the lake will be restored <br />to dry range for wildlife habitat. These areas will have a minimum of 6 inches of replaced topsoil. <br />The final land use for the permit azea will be wildlife habitat and recreation use. As described eaz- <br />lier, the lake surface is expected to be 6.65 acres. Expected water depth is approximately 16 feet. <br />There will be no connection between the river and the lake, as was specified by the CDOW, and the <br />operator and landowner commit to not stocking the lake with any non-native species. <br />Assuming that mining starts in June of 2004, the reclamation will commence in the fall of the yeaz <br />2008. Map E-2 shows how the site will look after reclamation.
