in Pit 03 are good sources of topsoil and subsoil for reclamation
purposes. '1'neretore, segregation of each pit from a resoiling
standpoing is most desirable. Differences in salvage depths and
redistribution depths for each area further add to the desirability
of this plan. This approach also will aid in achieving a uniform,
stable thickness for each pit area, similar in soil properties and
conditions to the premining landscape.
