Dept. of Naturz~ 4esuurces <br />Wildlife in the area consists of deer, primarily in <br />the winter season, and ground squirrels, cottontail rabbits, <br />redtail hawks, mourning doves and mapgie most of the year. <br />A request for a Wildlife Statement ]awaac°~sc made to the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife c~caa~mycx3~c~cxbc9Bc0;~cxxictxa¢3cpc. <br />and a Wildlife Statement dated March 3, 1980 has been received <br />and is attached. <br />WATER <br />There is no surface and no underground water on the <br />site. 64ater for domesi;ic purposes will be hauled to the mine. <br />If dust control measures are required, chemical means will be <br />used. <br />VEGETATION* <br />The site lies approximately on the boundary of the <br />pinyon-juniper-oakbrush zone and the sagebrush zone. Pinyoh- <br />juniper is restricted to the extreme southwest portion of the <br />site.
