Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan
The affected area will be stabilized and reclaimed to rangeland
following completion of mining. The elements of the reclamation plan are
given below.
Site Clean Ua
Any debris and trash remaining on site will be cleaned up and Hauled
to the public landfill.
BackfillinR and Grading
The major portion of the final configuration of the disturbed area
will be created during mining. Areas of the hill that are daylighted, and
most of the remaining portion of the disturbed area, will have a nearly
level to slightly sloping surface and require only minimal smooth grading.
The uppermost portion of the area will have a cut slope created. This
slope will be graded to achieve a 3:1 slope.
Runoff Diversions/Runoff Basins
The pit is located on top of a drainage divide. Consequently, there
is no need to create any permanent ditches or berms to intercept and divert
runoff. Since an existing stock pond will be eliminated by the operation,
the landowner desires that any other basins created during the operation be
left for purposes of livestock.
Soil Replacement
Topsoil will be replaced on the disturbed areas to a depth ranging
from about four to eight inches (average of about six inches).
Seed Red Preparation and Fertilization
Prior to reseeding, areas disturbed by the operation will be disced or
similarly worked, depending on the volume of rock in the soil, in order to
-8-
