3. CWI has informed owners of Favicett Ditch, Holybee Ditch, and 'Iprror Ditch of
the intent to construct transportation vnprovanents such as buried pipelines
• or concrete linings to ensure equivalent irrigation flows. These improve-
ments kould be done on a case-by-case basis.
4. Replacement water could be delivered, if necessary. Within the 'Iprror Creek
drainage area, CWI o~.ns shares in 'ihrror Ditch, portions of the Heddles and
Hofer Waste Ditch, and the entire portions of the John Beezley Ditch and the
John Beezley Dunes tic Ditch. Ramp and pipeline systems could be constructed
for large improvenents and truck transport utilised for small replacement, if
necessary. 4he terror Ditch currently irrigates areas on Garvin Mesa, which
is not considered a potential AVF. the John Beezley Ditch and Heddles and
Hofer Waste Ditch serve areas close to CWI's storage and loadout area. 'Ibis
has been designated an AVF. Because of irrigation distribution improvements
such as pipelines constructed in these areas, water could be used on the
Garvin h~sa area without any effect to this AVF.
Summary
CWI intends to mitigate all water losses. It is prudent to take rare of this on
• a case-by-case basis because of the canplexities of water replacement issues.
CWI has maintained close canmunications with the affected ditch canpanies, and
these ditch companies have responded positively to this approach in water
replacement.
u
