Please review Rule 6.3.5 for the <br />required information to be submitted on the mining plan map and the <br />reclamation plan map. The maps should be labeled, and the features <br />especially important are more exact boundaries, distances from <br />surrounding features such as roads, fences, and other property <br />parcels within 200 feet of the permit boundary, and distance from <br />the creek. Mining direction must be shown, plus locations of all <br />mining activities, such as stockpiling, processing, areas already <br />reclaimed, etc. The reclamation map must show areas of slopes, and <br />all post-reclamation features, such as roads, rip rap storage, <br />ditches, etc. <br />rxniDic r - i,isL or VLner rermiLS ana i,icenses <br />There is nothing in the new or old application. Provide any <br />necessary information or comment if none is needed. <br />Exhibit I - Proof of Filing with Countv Clerk <br />What has been submitted for your initial submittal is fine. Please <br />be reminded that, since this copy is for the local public to <br />review, it must be a complete copy and must include all materials <br />you provided after the initial submittal, plus all correspondence <br />from this office. Please ensure that all such items are filed with <br />the clerk, and provide another signed and dated receipt showing all <br />said filings. This may be submitted with your response to this <br />letter. <br />Exhibit J - Proof of Mailing Notices <br />Your proof from the commissioners is fine. we received the green <br />stub from the soil conservation district, but nothing to indicate <br />what exactly was sent to them. Please provide a copy of the <br />notice. <br />In the future, be reminded that this Division requires that <br />notification be sent to the local soil conservation district, not <br />to the NRCS. Since the NRCS office and the local soil conservation <br />district office are at the same location, please ensure that if the <br />NRCS signs for receipt of the district's mail, that they <br />acknowledge that the district will actually receive it. <br />Affidavit of Posting Notice at Location of Pit <br />There was no such notice found in your submitted application <br />materials. Please post the notice (language is provided in the <br />packet) and submit the completed affidavit. <br />The final items needed are the affidavit of proof of publishing the <br />notice, plus proof of notifications to any adjoining landowners. <br />(An adjacent landowner is one owning land within 200 feet of the <br />permit boundary. These owners must be identified on the Exhibit E <br />
