(Lien) proposes to conduct
exploratory drilling within the permit boundary of the subject active permit. Recent geologic
mapping suggests the need for Lien to better define the geometry of the ore body within the
subject permit boundary. Our bond will more than adequately cover the minimal disturbance.
Lien proposes to drill six (6) to 10 three (3) inch outside diameter core holes, and six (6) to 10 air
hammer holes for the purpose of reserve analysis. All holes will be reclaimed concurrently, and
no mare than two (2) drill holes will be open at any given time. Holes will be drilled to a depth of
20 to 100 feet, and reclaimed using cuttings, and concrete. Previous drilling and mining suggests
that @•oundwater is well below the proposed drilling depths. However, if groundwater is
encountered, Lien will take measures to prevent the mixing of formation waters.
Lien proposes to access the drill holes via the permitted right of way and via cross country travel.
No additional roads are required to be constructed for disturbance related to this project. Lien
does not anticipate the need for drill pad construction. However, it is the policy of Lien to
maintain a safe working environment for equipment and personnel; therefore, pad construction
will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and disturbance should be limited to the removal of non-
pro[ected plant species, and colluviums.
Equipment required for this project will be used on a strictly "as needed" basis and include, but
are not limited to the following: core rig, air hammer rig, pick-up truck(s), water truck, and pipe
truck.
