IF broadcast the seed shall be raked or harrowed after <br />application; <br />7. Mulch and fertilizer will not be necessary ur effective in <br />these soils types - they will not be used; <br />8. Moffat County arrci the Division of Z`iinerals and Geology have <br />adopted a seed-mix formula for all of the County Road <br />Department's gravel pits. (See Exhibit E-1) This formula <br />was adopted from recommendations by the Soil Conservation <br />Service, BLM Range Specialists, County Extension Ayent, the <br />Division's own Reclamation Specialists, and Moffat County's <br />own experienced personnel; <br />9. Moffat County does not anticipate the interception of yround <br />water. No water was was encountered in any of the 16 <br />exploratory holes dug on the site. If water is intercepted <br />the operator will consult with the property owner whose <br />responsibility it is to file un such water with the Cuioradu <br />Water Court. Water well permits are not required to mine dry <br />land benched gravel. <br />10. This reclamation platr includes developing low places iri the <br />excavation areas to manage local drainage. If these low areas <br />collect a substantial amount of water for an extended period <br />of time, the land owner will file on the storage water. <br />11.
