Any- <br />time in between these dates is also acceptable providing the ground is not <br />frozen. <br />A straw or hay mulch should then be applied at a rate of 4000 lbs. per acre. <br />and crimped into the soil to prevent blowing. <br />Weeds should be controlled by mowing and not by herbicide application as <br />this may cause damage to new seedlings.
