• A 60-inch reclaim conveyor, housed in an inclined concrete tunnel
will be used to transport coal (4,000 tons per hour) from the
unloading hopper to a rubber-tired radial stacker.
• The radial stacker will feed a 30-foot high, 30,000 ton stockpile.
The loading system will include the following components:
• A tracked dozer will take the coal from the stockpile and push it to
the existing truck-dump hopper.
• The existing hopper reclaim conveyor will transport coal (1,500 tons
per hour) through the existing crusher building (with crusher
replaced with a coal chute) to the existing, but relocated loadout
conveyor, which mill feed the loadout building (relocated and
refurbished with a 75-ton loading bin).
As part of this project, the existing crusher building will be refurbished
- the crusher will be removed and replaced with a coal chute. The loadout
conveyor will be refurbished and relocated from the existing stack tube
reclaim tunnel to the crusher building. It will be used to elevate coal
from the crusher building to the top of the loadout structure. The loadout
structure will be refurbished and moved to the new, proposed location.
Haul road HGLF HR2 will be re-aligned and constructed as the haul truck
corridor.
The existing stack tube, stack tube reclaim tunnel and crusher conveyor
will be demolished.
Since CDMGs approval of the original permit application (Permit C-92-081)
in May 1993, HGTI has submitted several technical revisions (TR), minor
revisions (MR) and permit renewals (RN). A brief summary of the revisions
follows.
TR-O1 - Responses to Stipulations 2 and 3 attached to Permit C-92-081.
The TR was submitted July 22, 1993 and the proposed decision to
approve was issued on April 27, 1994.
MR-O1 - Change of Operator and Update Tab 3, Adjudication File. The MR
was submitted July 25, 1994 and the proposed decision to
approve was issued on August 22, 1994.

TR-06 9 Revised OS/OS
