(F) A map in Exhibit C may be used along with the narrative to present the following
information:
(i) Nature, depth and thickness of the deposit to be mined and thickness and type of
overburden:
Topsoil ranges from approximately 6 to 12 inches in depth. The depth of overburden is
negligible. Excess soil that cannot be used as growth medium will be used for backfill and
leveling. The aggregate deposit ranges from 5 to 15 feet in depth, or deeper.
(ii) Nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined in
sedimentary deposits.
The site has been identified as having a lignite deposit approximately 30 feet below the
surface. If lignite is encountered during excavation, it will not be mined. The property
owners own the mineral rights.
(G) Identify the primary and secondary commodities to be mined and describe the
intended use:
The primary commodity to be mined is sand. Secondary commodity is topsoil or growth
medium that is not needed for reclamation.
(H) Name and describe the intended use of all incidental products to be produced:
No incidental products are anticipated.
D-3
