placed to one side of the trench, subsoil excavated and placed on other side of trench, waterline placed in trench,
trench backfilled with subsoils, topsoil replaced over footprint of trench and the area broadcast seeded with
approved seed mixture.
At each of the locations, escape shaft and 10 Right waterline, a manifold and valuing or similar device will be
installed to connect the waterline with each of the structures at these locations. Both of these locations are in
previously disturbed areas. A valve will be installed in the waterline from the Fish Creek Borehole to direct the
water to either the Escape Shaft or the 10 Right waterline. The water will enter the underground water system and
be delivered to the appropriate mine location. The existing powerline will be tapped into [o provide power to the
location. Two additional powerpoles will be installed, one approximately midway between the existing line and the
pad. The other pole will installed within the boundary of the escape shaft pad.
Up to five manholes will be located along the waterline at which "T's" will be installed to provide a tap for setting
up a line [o deliver water from the line to a stock tank. All of the installations will be of similar construction, 5'
diameter culvert with insulated lid, valve, "T" and waterline. The line will be run overland from the manhole to a
stock tank and the water will be used for stock watering. A float device, or other type of control, will be installed at
[he stock tank to control flow into the stock tank. The location of the various manholes will be determined in the
field based upon topography and stock water distribution needs.
A utility building, approximately 10' x 10' x 10' will be installed over the escape shaft over immediately adjacent
to it. The building will be placed on a concrete slab approximately 10' x 10'x x 1'. When the building is no longer
required, or at the time of final reclamation, it will be removed from [he site.
OVERLAND BELT MAGNET (MR 02-179)
Twentymile will install a magnet over the overland belt to pick tramp metal from [he coal stream prior to it entering
the primary crusher. The captured metal will discharged from the magnet into a bin located underneath it for
recycling or disposal. The magnet is in a framework constructed over [he belt and a trolley system on the
framework moves the magnet in and out of position over the belt. The frame work is constructed of H-beam which
is anchored to six concrete rebar reinforced piers drilled into bedrock. The piers are two feet in diameter, extend
from 6 to 9 feet into bedrock and will extend three feet above grade. A concrete pad approximately 8' x 10' x 2'
will be constructed under the bin to facilitate removal of it. The entire framework and pad will be constructed in a
disturbed area.
(b) A description of each existing structure, for which there are specific design criteria or performance
standards specified in these Rules, proposed to be used in connection with or to facilitate the surface coal mining
and reclamation operations. The description shall include:
(i) (A) Location:
(B) Plans of [he structure which describe its current condition;
(C) Approximate dates on which construction of the existing structure was begttn and
completed; and
(D) A showing, including_relevant monitoring data or other evidence, whether the structure
meets the design requirements or performance standards of Rule 4 or is eli ible e for
exemption from [he design requirements as set forth in 2.07.6.
(ii) A compliance plan for each existing structure that is proposed to be modified or
ret;ansttucteu'r&r use tir ctmnetltim w~itt or tV ~`atailiaitr ulr sutt`dt,~ cum' ~minigatnr'ret 'mn-mtinr
operation.
