Mr. Larry Oehler
Division of Minerals and Geology
March 11, 1999
Page 3
Exhibit E -Maps
~',~, 1. Permit application is for 9.84 A, which includes 9.37 A pit area and 0.47 A access road.
Permit boundaries do not include the access road. Please modify the maps to include the
access road.
The maps have been modified to include the access road in the permit boundary.
~1~ 2. Mining Plan shows topsoil only stockpiled on the west side of the pit. Change the map to
show perimeter stockpiles or change the Mining Plan.
The map has been revised [o show the stockpile berms on both the east and west pit perimeters. No
change in the Mining Plan is needed.
3. Floyd Mock is no longer the owner of the property to the north. The Elbert County
~~~ Assessor's office now shows Vernon R. Miller as owner of the land. Change the map and
notify Mr. Miller.
This is true. When the application was filed, the assessor's office records indicated Floyd Mock was
the owner, even though there was information available that Mr. Mock had sold to Vernon Miller.
Since Mr. Mock was listed as the owner of record, we submitted the application that way. After you
determined that Mr. Miller was in ownership, we changed the map and notified Mr. Miller
immediately. You should have a copy of the Certified Mailing Receipt in your file by now.
I believe this completes the responses. Call me if there aze any questions. We are looking forwazd
to approval.
Thanks for your help.
Cordially,
Lloyd V.
