Compliance with applicable Colorado water laws and
regulations governing in~ur•y to existing water- r•i ghts.
2. Compliance with applicable Federal and Colorado water
q~.iality laws and r•egulatioris.
3. Compliance with applicable Federal ar~d Col~~r•ado ar•edne
ar~d fill r•egUirernents. No tempoary or large siltation structures will be a
part of the nrinir~g or• r-eclanration plan.
No earther•n dams will be constructed.
Wildlife
pll aspects of the mining and reclamation plan take into acco~_int
the safety and protection of wildlife on site. Habitat
management and creation is riot to be part of the r•eclarnat i c.n
plan. Refer to Exhibit H for a complete discussion of wildlife.
Toosoi 1 i r~g
Topsoil will be stockpiled on the site at either- entl of nrir~ing
segments (See Sheet 2 of 2, Exhibit C). q volume of 40,d@~ cubic
yards will be stockpiled initially. In ~~r•der• to r•eclairn a
shoreline approximately 6 inches deep ar~d 10 feet wide with
topsoil 2,000 c~.ibic yards will be r•equir•ed. Depth of togsoil
replacement will actually vary from 4 inches to B inches. Rreas
where miming will occur after- one growing season will have
topsoil stockpiles seeded with fast growing cover to preserve
them from wind and water er•osiori.
Very little woody vegetation is iri the area where mining will
occur-.
The growing nrediurn will be replaced evenly thr•ougho~rt the
reclaimed area.
