EXHIBIT B
to that certain
Limited Impact Operation (110(2))
Reclamation Permit
Application Form
WEST END GRAVEL COMPANY
SITE DESCRIPTION
1, The site of the operation has very shallow topsoil
ranging from no topsoil to six inches (6") in depth. The topsoil
is deficient in many nutrients required to sustain plant life.
Sparse growth of plants within the area is indicative of the
poor soil condition and lack of precipitation. Plants located
on the area of the permit include, Diffuse Knapweed, Yellow
Starthistle, Hoary Cress, Field Bindweed, Spotted Knapweed,
Russian Thistle and Gray Rabbitbrush, Russian Thistle is the
most common plant located on the permit area.
2. The only permanent manmade structures within two
hundred feet (200') of the affected area are the Doing Ditch,
a small irrigation ditch owned by Silver Hawk, Ltd., and a stock
pond fed by the Doing Ditch.
3. No water resources are within the area of the proposed
operation.
All drainage from the operation will be collected
in an existing stock pond near the affected area. Discharge
will be limited as the site is above main drainage areas and
is relatively flat in contour.
The water table in the area of operation is estimated
at two hundred feet (200') below the surface. The water quality
of the subsurface water is high in dissolved solids, but
otherwise of good quality. i~~,s~¢_ ,.i ~,~'~ z,
-~-
