GE 28-88 was considered a tight formation hole and the elevation of the Maxwell seam (6772.4) was identical to station 14, crosscut 12 (6772.7) 335 feet to the West. GE 29-88 • ' Code /TD /Surf. It encountered a substantial water flow at 394-422' but soon lost all water down the hole when a second fracture zone was intercepted at TD. It was left open because all attempts to cement it have washed all material out the bottom at 595 ft. The well developed a small gas flow weeks after its initial drilling.
