<br />• (iii) An outline of the sequence in which each stage or phase of reclamation will be <br />carried out. <br />a. Topsoil lake bank and shoreline with 6" to 10" of topsoil depending on availability - 8" <br />average. <br />b. Seed with SCS designated seed mix. <br />(f) A description of each of the following: <br />(i) Final Grading: <br />The pit floor will be left level at the excavated depth. Lake banl: and shoreline will be treated with <br />6" to 10" of topsoil. <br />(ii) Seeding -types, mixtures, quantities and expected time of seeding. <br />The types and mixtures and quantities of seed to be supplied are described in 6.4.5(?) (d) above. <br />SCS recommendations and expertise in this area have shown that July seeding is the best time to <br />seed and generally gets the best results. This gives the planting time for rain. <br />(iii) Fertilization -type, quantity and time of application. <br />• SCS recommendations aze for no fertilizer. <br />(iv) Revegetation -type of trees, shrubs, etc. <br />None are proposed at this time. <br />(v) Topsoiling -specify anticipated minimum depth or range of depths for those areas which <br />will be topsoiled. <br />As stated earlier, a minimum of6" to 10" is proposed to be replaced on all areas requiring treatment, <br />with an average of 8". <br />C1 <br />J <br />Page 6 of 6 <br />
