Footnote 1: Although the bond topography differs from the postmine topography, the sediment control plan for the postmine topography uses a system of 3 ponds, 10 sediment traps, and 6
postmine stockponds for a worst case hydrologic condition {See Exhibit 7, Item 20). This case would also be representative for the bontl topography although the number of strudures will vary with
time. With this case, each of the 10 sediment traps have a maximum capacity of 2.0 acre-feet, resulting in a total yardage of 48,400 cY assuming 150°h of the total storage capacity for slope
considerations. Estimated surface area for the 10 sediment imps is 3 acres.
Footnote 2: As noted in Footnote 1, there are 6 postmine stockponds, each with a cepaGty oT 0.5 acre-feet. Using the same considerations, this results in a yardage of 7,300 cy and a surface area
of 2 acres.
Foofiote 3: As noted in Footnote 1, the postmine topography differs from the bond topography but the number and length of postmining channels was chosen as a representive case. See Tabte t,
Fem. 7-20, Part E for a listing of primary and secondary channels for the postmine Surface. A total of 28,200 linear feet of pdmary channels with 12 foot bottom width, 3H:1V sideslopes, 4 foot depth
and cross-sedional area of 96 square feel per foot are required. This results in 100,300 cy of excavation to censtmG the pdmary channels. Similady, the 28,709 linear feet of secondary channels
results in 38,300 cY of excavation. Together, the primary and secondary require 138,600 cY or excavation. No additional surface area has been inGuded as ditches are within the main reGamation
units.
Footnote 4: An estimated 113,000 cubic yards of dp-mp material will be needed based on lengths and dimensions provided in Exhibit 7, Item 20 with a placement depth of 150% of the D50
diameter. A unit cost of $1.52 per yard for dprap transport and placement is used assuming that adequate materials are available from overburden sources basetl on typical tmck/shovel unit costs
of $0.76 times 200%to inGude extra handling and placement.
