A Reclamation Plan Map depicting
the configuration of the rectaimed ground surlaco can be found m Exhibd F A timetable outlining a
description of the reclamation eRorts can be found within Exhibd D
Redamation will be conducted in a phased manner and will begin when no further disturbance will occur
as a result of the mlNng activiies In other words, redamation may happen during the same time as
mining activities are occumng. It is anticipated that redamation efforts Mnll occur on a 12 to 18 month
cycle until all mining activities have ceased.
BACKFILLING AND GRADING - ARer the resource is removed. backfilling and grading activdies will
commenco except for any working gravel faces(s). The stockpiled overbuNen will be hauled Irom ds
storage area adjacent to the mining area by mobile egwpment and placed where required to achieve a
level topography and properly backlilled slopes. The side slopes of the resource extraction area will be
re-gradetl to be no sleeper Then a ratio of 3 1 (horizontal to vertrcat) BackfilNng arW grading will be done
by dozers, and/or, scrapers which will compact and stabilize the overburden matenal. To insure stability
of the slopes. matenal will be placed m 12 inch tilts artd compacted to a minimum density of 85 percent of
the optimum density.
In ilia even) that material delivered to the IaGlity Irom outsWe sources is used in the backfilling and
grading operations, the following procedure will be implemented to insure that the matenal is clean and
ineA
1.
