QCA 124T" ESTATES PARTNERS
7/11/02
WATER STORAGE
OVERVIEW
In our obligation to accommodate the (DMG) with solutions to any concerns regazding
the Brighton Water Storage Project, we have laid out a Construction Quality Assurance
Plan. The (QCA) plan is as follows.
I. The processing and removal of material will begin approximately 8/1/02.
u We will screen and haul material from the East % of the azea. (At this time we
will lower the water the pond approximately 10 ft)
(b) During the initial phase we will not work closer to the property line than our
established limits, allowing protection from potential caving of existing
structures.(See Sec. II Phase I.)
II. The liner will be placed in two phases.
Phase I:
On approximately January I S to February 15, 2003. At this time we will use
627F Scrapers and a D-9 Dozer to remove the usable material from the liner area.
At this time, we will lower the water level to the floor of the pond. This activity
will coincide with period that the Fulton Ditch will be inactive. We will cut a
keyway into the bedrock and build the liner to an elevation above 5022 (the
existing water table). The liner material will be removed with from the floor with
a D-9 Dozer and 627 Scrapers. Then compacted with a Water Wagon and Disk.
Placement will be in 8" compacted lifts. We will begin develop the final slope by
adding material to the toe as the liner is completed.
