Frequency and Sample Tyoe - Acute ttc Testiog (Out?a11s 002, 011 and 012) <br />The monitoring frequency for acute l: E? tests shall be quarterly, <br />commencing with the first full calendar quarter following the permit <br />eEEeccive date. Quarterly test results shall be reported along with the <br />Discharge iionltoring Reoorc (DfIIt) submitted for Che end of the reporting <br />calendar quarter (i.e., I:E: testing results for the ca lenaar quarter <br />coding March 31 sha1L be reported with the DltR due April 28, with the <br />remaining uE: testing reports submitted with DMRs duo each July 28, <br />October 28 and January 28). The results shall be submitted on Che Acute <br />ioxicicy Test report form, available from cite Division. Copies of these <br />reports are co be submitted co bo u`~ the Division and EPA. <br />The permit tee shall conduct each acute W=~ test in general accordance <br />with methods described in the Division guidance document entitled <br />Guidelines for Conducting irhole EFfiuent ?o xieity Tests. The permictee <br />shall eoafluet an acute 48-hour WZ test using Cerlodaohnta sp., and an <br />acute 96-hour WEZ test using fathead minnows. ?,cute cescs will be <br />replacement static tests of a single effluent grab sample. <br />4. Aceeteraced Testing (Outfalls 003, O11 and 012) <br />If an individual toxicity test shows toxicity at concentrations less <br />than or equal co the Iascream I:aste Concenc=atioa (IS:C) of ]OOX for <br />discharge poiacs 011 and 012, and 1.SX far discharge point 002 or if 50S <br />species mortality in any dilution at ouc_°alls 01'_ and 012 is dde~ected Sn <br />any acute t7E: test conducted Sr. accordance with this permit, [he <br />permittee shall notify ehe Division verbally within 24 hours and in <br />writing within 5 days of becomLzg aware of ehe toxicity.
