EXHIBIT D
RECLAMATION PLAN
PROPOSED ULA PIT
The reclamation will begin with the completion of the
first phase of mining. It is estimated the first phase
will be under active mining for approximately 5 years.
Grading will be done as the mining proceeds to the
west and final grading will take place at the end of the
first phase.
The slopes will be left at 9:1 and top soil will be
replaced to a depth of 6" - 12".
Due to the water table depth and distance to surface
water (approx. ~ mile), there will be minimal if any effect
on water quality in the area. Colorado water laws will be
complied with.
The local Division of Wildlife representative was con-
tacted and stated there would be no impact on wildlife or
their habitat as a result of this operation.
i ~
l.y Top-soil will be stored in a berm away from the mining
r~ ~ operation. If left for more than a year, the stock-pile will
be revegatated (see Exhibit C).
Revegetation in conjunction with reclamation of the site
will be accomplished according to the ASC recommendations
(see Exhibit D). ~~/~i
There will be no buildings or structures placed for this
oper~~tion.
I
