6.3.1 EXHIBIT A - Leal Description & Location <br />1. In conformance with Rule 6.3.1, please revise the "Location Map" to include a <br />prominent landmark or direction & distance to the neazest town (Meeker or <br />Craig). You may also want to reference the nearest mile mazker neaz the site <br />entrance. Please respond. <br />Response: Figure 1 -General Location Map has been updated to reflect a prominent <br />landmark (Craig) near the Colowyo Coal Mine entrance and the neazest mile <br />marker as requested. <br />6.3.3 EXHIBIT C - Minine Plan <br />2. In conformance with Rule 6.3.3(f), please clarify the maximum disturbance to be <br />expected at any one time throughout the life of the operation, in terms of pit or <br />highwall dimensions, depth of excavation, volume of overburden to be re-graded <br />during final reclamation, and acreages of working face, pit floor, stockpile areas, <br />and other disturbances that will be reclaimed. Please respond. <br />Response: The volume of overburden to be regraded can be found in Appendix A on <br />page 18. Language has been inserted onto page 3(6.3.3.1) to clarify the <br />maximum disturbance, pit and highwall dimensions, acreages of working <br />face, pit floor, and stockpile areas to be reclaimed. <br />6.3.3 EXHIBIT D -Reclamation Plan <br />3. The Applicant specifies on page 6 of the application that once mining is <br />concluded on the Nielson Pit, the pit will be blasted and re-graded to a 3:1 <br />surface. In conformance with Rule 6.3.4, please quantify the volume of materials <br />to be blasted during a maximum disturbance scenazio and the unit cost per cubic <br />yard of material to be blasted. Please respond. <br />Response: The volume of materials to be blasted during the maximum disturbance and <br />the unit cost per bank cubic yard can be found in Appendix A on page 18 <br />within the permit application. <br />4. In conformance with Rule 6.3.4, please clarify the total number of acres to be re- <br />vegetated during final reclamation, or during a maximum disturbance scenario. <br />Please respond. <br />Response: A maximum total of nine and one half acres could potentially be re-vegetated <br />during final reclamation. Language was inserted on page 6 under the <br />heading of "Revegetation Plan" to reflect the total number of acres to be re- <br />vegetated. <br />
