One additional change to the Reclamation Plan is for the area disturbed adjacent to Routt
~~ County Road 27. Instead of removing the entire deadhead road which was constructed, the
following plan is proposed. From the edge of the additional turnout lane xeguaeted by
Routt County, Seneca will construct a 5H:1V slope out ip a southwest direction from the
highway shoulder. The issuance of NOV C-97 004 responded to the encroachment of fill
material from the deadhead road construction ac eivity into the drainage and to she stream
flowing along Routt County Aoad 27 between the Hallenbeck stockpond and Culvert YA~1.
Silt Eence was installed along the toe of the Eill to prevent any additional sloughing of
material into the channel. A field survey of this entire area was conducted on April 17,
1997 to determine the existing conditions, which are shown on Figure 2. Figure 3 depicts
[he regrading plan for this area at the 5:1 slope with the final location and arrangement
of the fill and the reclaimed stream channel. Several cross sections and the typical
channel for the reclaimed stream channel are shown on Figure 4. Included in Addendum 13-
lOC is the SEDCAD+ input and output for the stream channel from the Hallenbeck stockpond
to Culvert YA-1. The discharge utilized for this channel design was based on the results
generated for Culvert YA~1. This area will then be topsoiled and revegetated per the
approved Reclamation Plan. As an additional stabilizing meaeu re in the reclaimed stream
• channel, XCEL Super Duty SD3 erosion control blankets will be placed in the channel.
These blankets are four foot wide and will be installed along the length of the channel
bottom and side elopes in the direction of streamflow, three blankets wide, with the
adjacent blankets slightly overlapped. This option has been discussed with she landowner
and the appropriate consent Eorm is provided Eor insertion into Appendix 22-2.

13-30-7 Revised 05/12/97
