Mineral Report <br />Free Use Permit <br />Moffat County <br />CONCLUSIONS• <br />1. The subject land is non-mineral in character, <br />2. There are are no known valuable locatable mineral deposits present <br />on the subject land. <br />3. There are no known mining claim conflicts, <br />4. There is an oil and gas application (C-17704) on the lands. <br />5. The granting of the subject application for surface use of the area <br />will not interfere unreasonably with operations under the mineral <br />leasing laws. <br />6. There are substantial quantities of gravel within the subject site. <br />7. Issuance of a permit and removal of the gravel deposit would be a <br />public service, to improve county roads in the area. <br />RECOPAtENDATIONS: I <br />1. The Free Use Permit should be issued. <br />2. Provisions for timely reclamation and protection of the enviro~unent <br />should be included in the special conditions of the Free Use Permit. <br />The following report is the result of a technical review of geologic and <br />mineral data covering the subject area, It should not be construed as a <br />complete engineering report for appraisal purposes or for purposes other <br />than that for which it was written. <br />
