I ~ 2.05.3
MR-75
,rj ~~Ro V~,A
3~9~07
Run-off from the vent shaft pad does not go through a Yreatment facility such as a
sediment pond. Run-0ff from this pad will be filtered through one of two sediment
fences. Sediment fence #1 is 130-feet long with a tie back of 5-feet. Sediment
fence #2 is 30-feet long with a tie back of 5-feet. Design of the sediment fences is
presented in Volume III, Exhibit 8 beginning on page Exh-8 - 87. Flow will be routed
to the sediment fences with a series of berms as shown on Map 35.
Three or more gob vent boreholes GVBs are required over each longwall panel.
Additionally, exploratory holes will be drilled within the permit boundary. Run-offfrom
the related drill pads may not go through a treatment facility such as a sediment
pond. Run-off from the pads that does not report to a sediment pond will be filtered
through a sediment fence. Design of sediment fences for three drill pad
configurations are presented in Volume I II, Exhibit 8 beginning on page Exh-8 -107.
The three typical drill pads are designed on a 3H:1 V slope, SH:1 V slope and 10H:1 V
slope. The typical sediment fence configuration, berms and ditches for the various
slopes and pad sizes are shown on Maps 36 and 36a. The following table lists each
drill hole and its design drill pad:
Drill Holes -Original Ground Slope Information
Identifier Hole Name Slope Identifer Hole Name Slope
063 GVB-D-2B 10:1 094 GVB-D-8A&9A 3:1
041 GVB-D-7A 3:1 096 IP-99-16 10:1
042 GVB-D-5A 3:1 102 IP-99-11 3:1
044 GVB-D-4B 5:1 102 IP-99-11 3:1
051 GVB-WD-3C 5:1 120 KM-3 3:1
052 GVB-WD-3B 3:1 129 P-B-Burn-22 10:1
053 GVB-WD-2B 3:1 130 P-B-Burn-23 10:1
054 GVB-WD-3A 10:1 131 P-TC-03-Ot 10:1
055 GVB-WD-2A 10:1 132 P-TC-03-02 10:1
059 GVB-D-4C 10:1 133 P-TG-03-03 10:1
060 GVB-D-5B 5:1 136 P-TC-03-06 10:1
061 GVB-D-SC 10:1 138 14 Geolech N/A
062 GVB-D-6C 5:1 139 3 Alluvial Wells N/A
064 GVB-D-6A 5:1 141 GVB-8I-A,B&C 10:1
065 GVB-D-68 3:1 142 B-Burn-24 N/A
066 GVB-D-78 5:1 143 TC-05-04 N/A
068 DH-57 10:1 144 GVB-B2-A&C & B3A,B N/A
070 DH-58 10:1 145 GVB-61-At 3:1
075 GVB-D-7C 10:1 147 GVB-B2-Ai 3:1
077 GVB-D-SD 5:1 148 GVB-B3-A2 3:1
078 GVB-WD-1A 10:1 149 GVB-B3-A1 3:1
050 GVB-WD-2C 5:1 151 GVB-B2-B 10:1
080 GVB-WD-1B 10:1 152 GVB-B2-A2 3:1
083 Geo-TCH-Ot 10:1 153 GVB-6A, 68, 6C 3:1,5:1,5:1
084 Geo-TCH-02 10:1 155 GVB-4A, SA 3:1, 3:1
085 Geo-TCH-03 5:1 158 G3-1 through G3-6 10:1
087 GVB-D-8C 10:1 159 Geolech-04 10:1
090 GVB-D-8B 5:1
092 GVB-D-98 3:1
2.05 - 34 - 12/22!06
