The maximum area of disturbance was based on the point in timc when it would be the most
expensive to reclaim the site. This point occurs during the backfilling for 3:1 slopes in Mining
Cell 1 and 2. Hcre the dewatering trench will be at its maximum length. The access road and
processing area will also contribute to the site disturbance. There will be shoreline under
reclamation at the south end of the property. Please refer to Table D-1 for a listing of disturbed
areas, which tota161 acres. This estimate will follow the same order as the fable D-1.
