ORLANDO PIT
Exhibit "C"
(g)No new roads will be necessary and no improvements on existing roads are needed.
All stormwater will be kept on-site by low earthen berms. Existing ranch roads are 20-
24 feet in width. Occasional blading might be requested by the Lessor. There are no
new or improved roads to be included as part of the permitted acreage. There will be
no associated drainage or runoff conveyance structures to be built with this operation.
(h) The only water to be used will be that amount possibly necessary for dust control
which can be supplied by the Lessor's existing rights. No water for processing of
material is required. Sanitary water will not be used or needed. Porta-John Toilets to
be used.
(i) No groundwater will be encountered and/or surface water intercepted or disturbed.
The only water involved will be that amount on the surface of the permit area and a
Stormwater Discharge Permit will be acquired to deal with this small amount.
All fuel storage containers will have containment structures.
(j) The Stormwater Discharge Permit that will be acquired will deal with compliance
with applicable Colorado water laws and regulations governing injury to existing
water rights. The historical flows of stormwater will not be affected.
(k) No refuse or acid and toxic producing materials will be exposed during mining so no
plan is needed. If any refuse is encountered it will be disposed of off-site in an
approved landfill.
(1) The Stormwater Discharge Permit will be designed to minimize damage to the
hydrologic balance and prevent off-site damage. This operation is designed to
provide for a stable configuration of the reclaimed area to be used for grazing
by the Lessor. A low earthen berm will be left for control of stormwater runoff to the
Huerfano River Drainage.
