<br /> <br />Exhibit D <br />c. <br />1 ~:~~ <br />e. <br />f. <br />If overburden Is not sold or used as dam material, it will be spread in a layer <br />inside the pit and then compacted. <br />The reclamated slopes will be 3 to 1 or less of a slope. <br />The pit will mine at a 3 to 1 slope and 6 inches of topsoil will be placed over <br />clay base gravel. This will take place when an area is graded and topsoil <br />needs to be moved or at the end of the project. After placement of topsoil, if <br />needed it will be disc. Along with natural range seeds, western wheat grass, <br />Indian rice grass, and needle and thread grass at 5 lbs. per acre will be drilled <br />and 10 ds if broadcasted then harrowed. Straw will be used as mulch <br />and tt~ to cover the seeded area. <br />A catch-basin stock pond is part of the reclamation plan. There will be only <br />one road on the south and west of the area and not reclamated. See the <br />attached Notice Of Intent To Construct A Non-Jurisdictional Water <br />Impoundment Structure for pond dimensions. The North and South road that <br />connects #~_ a East and West road is an existing dirt road that will be <br />' The stockpile area was placed on top of existing <br />topsoil ergo the topsoil in that area has not been removed. After alt stockpile <br />materials have been removed, that area will be chiseled and disc. <br />None. <br />When the pit reaches the maximum disturbance there will be a high wall 750 <br />feet long and 20 feet high. There Is 17,500 yards to be pushed from 0 to 25 <br />yards leaving a 3 to i slope. 500 yards of topsoil will be pushed or hauled <br />and placed over the slope. The estimated cost for a large dozer at $100 per <br />hour for 16 hours is $1,600. A small dozer at $50 per hour for 8 hours is <br />$400. Placement of 500 yard of topsoil at $2 per yard Is $1000. The discing <br />and drilling of seeds at $40 per hour for 8 hours is $320. Straw for mulching <br />is $60 per ton at 5 tons is $300. Two laborers at $6 per hour for SO hours <br />costs $120. Fertilizer if needed (type 3712) from Basin Coop at $250 per ton <br />and 150 lbs. Per acre is $240.
