Topographical Maps of site are enclosed, one (#1) existing conditions and
t and another (#2) for finish conditions.
l
'-~,}2. As previously stated, approximately 15,000 cubic yards of topsoil will be
~'- ~=)" used in reclamation and for the building of specified berms.
The remaining quantities of soil will be utilized as construction fill
material on our own offsite projects or will be sold to our contractor
customers.
3, 4. Regarding the earthen berm adequate to withstand a 100 year flood, further
investigations have been done that alters our position on this subject.
~~; Pr•ior information had indicated that a portion of the site that is to be
c,- (•~' 1 ai'fected by the gravel operation was within the 100 year floodplain. We
have since discovered that this is not the case and that the 100 year
t""'~~ floodplain limit is totally outside of the project site. Please refer to
tF~e floodplain map.
United Companies o/ Mesa County, Inc.
