The site is relatively level with
a slight slope of 1.55 degrees to the southwest. There are no
distinct drainage features on the site. The site is naturally
drained to the Southwest by the existing slope into the drainage
berms will be of sufficient size to retain all runoff from an
anticipated 100 year storm event, on the site.
Stormwater discharge quantity is controlled through the
natural contour of the site, which results in very gradual flow
across the site. The majority of ali Stormwater is absorbed into
the soil and underlaying material on the site.
Topsoil on the site averages 4-6 feet in depth and will be
removed to expose the underlaying gravel. Topsoil will then be
stockpiled in berms around the inside perimeter of the site to
contain runoff, and reduce objectionable noise.
No fuel is stored on the site except that contained in mobil
and process equipment. Fueling will be done periodically by a
fuel truck which will not remain on the site thereby reducing
the possibility of spills. Any possible contaminants in storm
water will be limited to soil and line gravel existing on the
site. Haul roads on and near the site will be bermed to direct
runoff into the bermed containment basin.
