File No. M-94-117 <br />Dear Mr. York-Feirn: <br />A the meeting to review Com. Inc.'s written response (submitted <br />to you in duplicate on February 16, 1995) to the Adequacy Items <br />enumerated in your letter dated January 4, 1995, you requested <br />clarification and/or additional details on the following: <br />EXHIBIT B - paragraph 5 <br />The applicant agrees to sample all four t4) monitoring <br />points as required by the permit (M-83-141 on a quarterly <br />basis to include the water temperature during the sampling <br />process and to monitor water levels as well as all <br />information as is present on the last sampling analysis <br />sheet. <br />EXHIBIT C - paragraph 3 & 4 <br />Com. lnc. will provide DMG the ore characteristics before <br />placing tailings in the tailings impoundment. <br />EXHIBIT D - paragraph 5 <br />Com, Inc. will continue ground water monitoring on a <br />quarterly basis for 1 year after reclamation. After i year <br />the DMG will review the results to determine if further <br />monitoring is needed. Com. Inc. will maintain a water <br />sampling log. <br />Com, Inc. agrees to retain a registered professional consulting <br />engineer who is experienced and qualified in the realm of <br />tailings impoundment ponds. Com, Inc. will arrange a meeting <br />between the DMG and Com, Inc.'s consulting engineer to coordinate <br />tactics.
