Mining on the site will occur between 10 and 20 feet in depth. Back filling may occur during reclamation of the pit. Electric fencing will be put up as needed to exclude livestock from newly germinated growth during reclamation. Mining will occur throughout the 9.9 acre site. Once the site has been mined reclamation will occur. The Pre-mining/Mining Map has been changed to reflect the direction of mining. All structures within 200 feet of the mining area have also been added to the mining map. An intermittent drainage area is present along the middle interior of the site which runs southwest to northwest through the mining azea. This drainage azea receives a minimal amount of water during spring runoff. The water that does flow into this azea generally seeps into the ground, given its gravelly composition, prior to traversing the entire site. The Final Reclamation Plan will provide a catch area that will recharge the groundwater. Stockpiles may be moved during mining to alternate areas within the permit boundary so that mining can occur on the entire 9.9 acre site. The gravel private roads have been added to the mining map. The private roads are owned by the property owner, Mrs. Whinnery. Proof of filing with the County Clerk and Recorder and Mailing of Notices of Permit Application will be faxed to you under separate cover. As you are aware we are trying to expedite this process and have sent the County and Mailing Notices but have not received a return receipt. Our office will forwazd a copy of the publication of the legal notice when the publication has finished. Additionally, our office will mail receipts showing proof of receipt to surrounding landowners.
