Henderson: <br />This letter is in response to your letter of October 10, 1981 regarding <br />the need for a NP DES permit for your sand and gravel operation in north- <br />west Lake County. <br />Based on the information submitted, no permit is required at this time <br />provided the following remains true: <br />- no discharge to surface water occurs <br />- no activities take place at the site other than <br />sand and gravel mining and processing <br />- no chemical additives are used in the process or <br />introduced into the system <br />You are advised that if circumstances change and a permit is needed, this <br />office should be notified 180 days prior to any discharge.
