~•
F.XHTRTT D
1.) The approximate depth of the well from the highest point
on the property is approximately 100 ft. Therefore, if the
depth of mining does not exceed a depth of 30 ft, (as proposed)
there should not be a problem.
2.) Concerning the spring Mr. Carestia has filed an application
with the Division of Water Resources. If disapproved the spring will
be abandoned and cannot serve as an irrigation source. The spring
is to be used only for irrigation of the reclaimed areas. Concerning
future use Mr. Carestia intends to install city water if any in-
dustrial buildings are built on this property.
F.XHTR TT E
1.) Concerning the final topography, I have enclosed a copy of
a map showing where the pit floor will stop and the back slopes begin.
Concerning the topography of the pit floor there will be a slope of
approximately 1 - 2% from the east to the west. The north south
slope will be at a 3 : 1 slope, then it will taper to nearly level.
2.) The entire area which is to be mined will be re-vegetated
in accordance with the S.C.S. requirements due to the fact that there
are no definite plans, at this time, to place an industrial type
of use on the property.
3.) There will be additional topsoil which will be stockpiled on
the existing stockpiles.
EXHIBIT H
Mr. Carestia is prepared to provide a $2,500 bond or other acceptable
forms of collateral which will be provided to you prior to the
Board meeting. I hope I have answered all your questions satisfactor-
ily, if not please do not hesitate to call me.
Sincerely,
J.E.
